How we make Skipless work for everyone, what still needs work, and how to tell us about a barrier.
Last updated 13 Oct 2026
Our aim
We want everyone to be able to use Skipless, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard, magnification or voice control. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
What we do
- Buttons, links and form fields have labels that screen readers read out.
- Everything works with a keyboard, with a clear outline showing where you are.
- Dark by default, with a light theme or your device’s setting a tap away (the sun and moon button, or Settings), and reduced motion when your device asks for it.
- Pages fit phone and computer screens and work when you zoom in, without sideways scrolling.
- Short, plain wording, and status shown with words and icons, not colour alone.
Known gaps
- The handwritten signature on contracts is decoration. Your typed name is what signs the contract, and screen readers read it as text.
- We haven’t had an independent accessibility audit yet. We check new screens with a keyboard and at phone and computer sizes as we build them.
Tell us about a barrier
If something on Skipless is hard to use, or you need information in another format, contact us at Help in the app. We aim to reply within 5 business days and to fix barriers as a priority.
If you’re not happy with our response, you can contact the Australian Human Rights Commission.
