Cookies
The few cookies Skipless uses, and why there’s no cookie banner.

What we use
Skipless uses a few cookies to keep you logged in and remember your settings. We don’t use advertising or analytics cookies, and nothing tracks you across other websites, so there’s no cookie banner.
| Cookie | What it does | How long |
|---|---|---|
| sb-…-auth-token | Keeps you logged in on this device (set by Supabase, our log-in provider). Page scripts can’t read it | Until you log out, or 400 days after your last visit |
| theme | Remembers light or dark mode | 1 year |
| pc_next | Remembers where to take you after you open a log-in link, such as a circle invite | 1 hour |
| pc_ref | Remembers whose invite link you opened, so they can see you joined | 30 days |
| app_tip | Hides the “Get the Skipless app” card after you press Hide | 1 year |
| look | Remembers whether you’re trying the new look, if you were asked to test it | 1 year |
| circles_seen | Remembers when you last opened Circles, so a dot shows when someone cheers you after that | 1 year |
All of them are set by Skipless itself. The website’s fonts load from Google Fonts, which doesn’t set cookies but does see your IP address.
Your browser also keeps one small page from Skipless, shown if you open the site or the app without a connection. It holds nothing about you, and you can clear it with your browser’s site data.
Your choices
You can block or delete cookies in your browser’s settings. If you block the log-in cookie, you won’t stay logged in.
Log out ends your log-in on that device. Settings, under Account, has Log out everywhere, which ends every log-in (on other devices, completely within an hour).
Changes
If we ever add analytics or advertising cookies, we’ll update this page first and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
